NPCDA hosts a virtual gathering space for current and former pro & semi pro sports cheerleaders and dancers.

Members are committed to giving and receiving non-performative & tactical support in the form of intros, insights, examples, guidance and resources to other professional cheerleaders & dancers.

  • The NPCDA virtual space is for current & former pro & semi-pro cheerleaders & dancers in any major league sport including the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, etc.

    Members access to our Slack community to:

    • make connections & network with other dancers

    • get support during your career on the field while preparing for your next step after.

    • stay connected to the pro industry, give back to the community & mentor other dancers while furthering your skill set for life.

  • Yes. Members pay $10/mo or $100/year. Free trial, cancelable anytime. The fees are used to support community operations and to help pay for events & plans NPCDA has to expand our offerings in the future.

  • No. Those who have currently or formerly been an NBA or NFL director, head or assistant coach do not have access to this group. We aim to provide a safe space for dancers to navigate their experience without the pressure of any extra eyes watching.

    We do accept coaches on a semi-professional level.

    However, we do have a group dedicated to coaches & encourage former & current coaches to apply.

  • Review time can be up to three weeks - our team reviews each application carefully for fit.

  • Of course. Once you’re accepted, you’ll create a member account through a third party called Heartbeat, through which you can cancel anytime if you need. You’ll also receive a free trial when you join.

  • Absolutely! We would love that. You can either send them to npcda.com to apply and have them list you as their referral, or you can refer them in our #member-referral-approval channel in Slack so they can skip the line. We review every member prior to extending an invitation to join.

  • In addition to our slack group, you'll be added to our NPCDA community space on Heartbeat. When additional resources become available, you'll be able to access them through the portal!
